Our Business

In July 2007, Kolimetics, Inc. acquired the assets of Bar-W, Inc.  Owned and operated by Bob Kouk and Mike Lindgren, the new Bar-W offers an enhanced level of service and innovative manufacturing expertise designed to surpass customer expectations.

The company, got it's start in 1981 when Bruce Wafer (formerly with Texas Instruments) and Eddie Bar teamed up to create Bar-W, Inc.  In true entrepreneurial spirit, they built the business from the ground up serving the robust Houston area market. 

The foundation of the business growth was anchored in the Oil and Gas industry serving large OEMs and smaller sub-tier suppliers.  The business was relocated in 1984 to it's present location in Stafford, Texas near the intersection of US59 South and Beltway 8, a major interchange along the Texas Energy Corridor. 

Bar-W grew to supply the semiconductor, medical and general industries in the years to follow.

Who We Are

Bob Kouk, President of Bar-W, has an engineering degree from Georgia Tech and 25 years of business and manufacturing experience.

Mike Lindgren is Vice President of Bar-W and has 32 years of machining, operations, customer service and quotations experience.

Jean Quintero is Administration Manager with 15 years of Bar-W experience.
